Take a Soak
I’m thoroughly convinced there isn’t much that can’t be solved by a soak in the tub. Simply submerging your body in water is so transformative. Why is that?
Go fill your tub and soak for a while, a long while.
Be calm. Be still.
Feel clean and new.
I’ve loved taking a bath for as long as I can remember, really. There’s that love of water resurfacing again. The internet may be buzzing all about self-care routines, but anything that resembles a routine generally doesn’t last long in my life. Except for baths. I somehow manage to find the time to take a soak, be it 5 minutes or 50 minutes, at least once a week. Sometimes I read a good book, listen to music, meditate, or scroll the endless feed of instagram.
